Demonstrate your strategic international HR leadership with the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) from HR Certification Institute (HRCI). The SPHRi (formerly the Human Resources Management Professional™ or HRMP™), for internationally based HR leaders, validates senior-level HR competency and mastery of generally accepted HR principles in strategy, policy development and service delivery in a single international setting.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for the SPHRi you must meet one of the following conditions for education and experience:
Have at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a master’s degree or global equivalent,
Have at least five years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, OR
Have at least seven years of experience in a professional-level HR position + a high school diploma (such as WASSCE or GED) or global equivalent.
The SPHRi also requires documented knowledge of local employment laws.
What is the Exam Format and Length
Exam time: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Exam length: 105 scored questions (mostly multiple-choice) + 25 pretest questions
Computer-based exam at a Pearson VUE testing center.

How much does it cost?
By default, you will pay Opus Peritia for Tuition only, which is held online. However, you may request that books and exam registration be added to your fees. Kindly allow up to two weeks to receive the print version of books.

Once an exam application and books are paid for, no refunds will be made whether a candidate withdraws or no longer wishes to take the course.
When can I join the next class?
Classes commence on 15th September and will run online for 12 weeks; every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evening and a recap on two Saturdays per every four weeks.
Tentative time is as follows:
Tuesdays - Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm (online session)
Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (recap session)
Kindly note that this class is 75% online and live via Zoom through Opus Peritia’s Aptitude platform. Candidates will need to download and install the Zoom software application to be able to join the class on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
The remaining 25% will be in-person instructor-led on two Saturdays for every four weeks covered. We encourage candidates not to miss this session as it will be the only session for physical engagement. The location will be advised prior to the start of class in May.

When can I take the exam?
Testing for the SPHRi is available year-round, subject to test center availability. However, plan to register at least two weeks ahead of your intended date.

We will provide tuition and resource material for your studies. This includes notes, mock exams, group projects, and individual assignments.
You may contact Opus Peritia to acquire the books (both online and print) at a fee.

How do I remain certified?
Your PHRi certification is valid for three years after testing. To maintain your PHRi credential, you must earn 60 recertification credits over the three-year time span or retake the exam. This can be through higher education, work projects or online training such as those run by Opus Peritia.

Can I cancel?
You may request either full withdrawal or deferment of the program at any point in time.
However, we advise participants to do this at least two weeks upon the start of the class in order to claim a full refund.
Cancellations after two weeks and before the 6th week will entitle you to 75% of the total fees paid.
Cancellations after the 6th week will receive no refunds
In the case of deferment, we will hold your total fees paid in trust until you join the next cohort. You may defer up to two cohorts. Failure to complete with the final cohort will lead to a 70% refund.
